Chris Brooks from BASC Central England ran a training day for probationary police officers from Suffolk Constabulary. He briefed them on shooting, the benefits that shooting has for conservation and how shooting shapes the countryside especially through the work of gamekeepers. He also talked about wildlife crime such as poaching and illegal hare coursing.
