There will be an opportunity for people in Kent to try the Olympic sport of clay shooting next month.

The British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) has organised the activity day, which will be held on Tuesday 20 May at the West Kent Shooting School near Paddock Wood, for people who have just started shooting, or who are about to take up the sport.

They will learn about safe gun handling and the law relating to shotguns as well as being given practical tuition in using shotguns and plenty of opportunities to shoot at clay pigeons. A snack lunch will be provided along with refreshments during the day.

The cost of the day is £65 per person, which includes all tuition, clays, cartridges, use of guns, etc.
