Winter Gundraw Background 2015 (2)BASC is offering the chance to win a pair of Beretta shotguns worth £14,400 in the BASC Winter Gun Draw 2015 / 2016.

Nick Glazebrook, BASC’s head of business development, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to win a superb pair of Beretta guns. For the price of a draw ticket – just £1 – you could walk away with a magnificent pair of guns worth £14,400.

”All the proceeds from this Gun Draw will go to help fund BASC’s vital work in providing opportunities for young people to learn about shooting and to take up the sport.”

The winner can choose to have either a factory-numbered pair of 12 bore Beretta 687 EELL Diamond Pigeons or a composite pair of 687 EELLs in 12 and 20 bore with game scene engraving.

NIck Glazebrook added: “This means you can select the right gun for all occasions. The 20 is ideal for walked-up partridge while the 12 will excel for driven game. The sideplate design allows for luxuriously detailed hand-chased engraving featuring woodcock and pheasant game scenes which makes the 687 EELL the closest thing to owning a handmade gun at this price level. Exquisitely hand finished by Beretta’s master engravers, each gun has an element of individuality. The patented locking system creates a particularly slim receiver, making the EELL a most elegant, responsive and finely balanced shotgun that is highly sought after and draws widespread praise.
“Each gun features a highly figured oil-finished walnut fore-end and stock and excellent wood to metal fitting. With a total weight slightly under seven pounds, the EELL is truly a pleasure to shoot with.”

The draw closes at 12 noon on Monday 8 February 2016. Entries can be made by using the entry form in the latest issue of Shooting and Conservation or by phoning 01244 573020. Members can also enter online in the members’ area of the BASC website. The draw is open to non-members.
