NI PicTWO members of the UK’s largest shooting organisation, The British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC), are celebrating after each won a new Browning shotgun in the latest ‘Member Get A Member’ gun draw.

Northern Ireland member Ashley Thompson recruited Richard Doherty to BASC, and the pair won shotguns from the Browning 725 range worth £2,000 each.

Speaking after the presentation, BASC Northern Ireland director Tommy Mayne, said: “BASC’s members already know the benefits of being part of the UK’s largest shooting organisation, but we are always delighted to welcome new members into the BASC family.

“BASC membership, with all its benefits, is great value but the chance to win such super prizes really is an extraordinary bonus.”

BASC Council member and chairman of the BASC NI Committee Oliver McCullough said: “I wish both Ashley and Richard the very best of luck with their new shotguns. I’m sure they will continue to enjoy the benefits of BASC membership and have many years of good shooting.”
