BASC is calling on people to send in their top photography shots as part of a newly-launched competition.

The aim of the ‘Top Shots’ competition is to celebrate all that is special about shooting and the British countryside.

Rebecca Johnston, BASC’s digital content editor, said the competition featured four categories: Wildlife, In the Field, Working Dogs and Field to Fork.

“We are on the hunt for images that tell shooting’s story and point to a much bigger picture – the camaraderie, the food, the wildlife, the people and the places,” she said.

“Capturing these moments really helps to tell the real story behind fieldsports.”

A panel of judges will determine the category winners based on originality, creativity, the message being conveyed and technical quality.

The competition sponsors are Skinner’s Pet Foods, Schöffel Country, Flint and Flame and Swarovski Optik.
