Following the announcement today of the government’s proposed tier system for the Covid pandemic, BASC is again highlighting that driven and group shooting can return in England from December 2.
The government’s ‘Winter Plan’ permits the resumption of organised outdoor sports or physical activity in all alert tiers. However, government is advising against unnecessary travel into and out of tier three areas.
Dan Reynold’s, BASC England director, said: “Shooting has conducted itself safely throughout the pandemic and it’s good news that we are back open for business from December 2. Driven and group shooting can now return to England on December 2.
“BASC continue to urge the shooting community to shoot responsibly and to follow the Covid Code to ensure people stay safe and well.
“BASC will continue to monitor government guidelines and keep our members informed.”
