Since Dan and Emily took over Orston Shooting Ground 18 months ago, they have continually invested in the business to make improvements and put on new competitions and events, with a view to make it the best shooting ground in the East Midlands.

Orston Shooting Ground offers eight clay shooting disciplines including the recently added simulated driven game shooting practice. The Game Arena consists of two high towers, grouse traps and a grouse/partridge flush. There are no cages and no need to shout ‘pull’ thus creating an even more realistic experience (pre-booking advisable).

DTL and FITASC continue to be two of the top disciplines at Orston and therefore a Winter Series competition of both have been introduced; starting in November. DTL High Gun prize is a Browning Pro trap 32” and the top scoring shot from each CPSA class will be invited to shoot in the super final to win a Caesar Guerini Maxum Sporter. To qualify for both prizes, entrants must shoot a minimum of 5 out of the 6.
