BASC’s Go Shooting website www.goshooting.org.uk has teamed up with www.gunsonpegs.com to provide its members with access to the largest number of shooting providers on the web.

Guns on Pegs is a free service for shoot owners and guns and provides an enormous range of shooting opportunities. It allows shoots to sell their available shooting for the coming season and it also enables shoots to contact guns to sell any last minute availability.

Member guns simply register their details and a short resume of their shooting history as this information is passed to a shoot when they first make contact.

BASC’s head of marketing, David Ilsley, said: “Guns on Pegs is a fantastic innovation to all those that are actively involved in game shooting. Guns on Pegs are also promoting ‘The Code of Good Shooting Practice’ across all vendors and participants of shooting and BASC is pleased to be supporting this initiative.”

People will be able to jump between BASC’s Go Shooting website www.goshooting.org.uk and the Guns on Pegs website www.gunsonpegs.com with just a click of a button.

David Ilsley added: “Go Shooting is already the most popular section of the BASC website and it was always our objective to make it the biggest and best community-driven shooting opportunity website in the world and joining forces with Guns on Pegs is a fantastic opportunity to combine the benefits of both websites and take them to the next level.”
