
The Wildlife Habitat Trust’s (WHT) 2019 Wildlife Habitat Conservation stamp has been launched by the Marquess of Salisbury.
The £5 stamp, the 29th in the series, features artwork entitled “Woodcock on the Stackpole Estate” by renowned wildlife artist Chris Lodge.
The Wildlife Habitat Trust (WHT) was established in 1986 at the request of the BASC membership and has become well known as the UK’s sporting shooting conservation fund. Every year the WHT launches a new Conservation Stamp which is taken from original artwork by a famous wildlife artist, commissioned by the WHT.
The WHT raises funds by selling the stamps as well as prints and badges based on the new artwork. The funds are then made available for loans and grants.
