The UK’s largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC), has agreed a partnership and sponsorship deal with Honda.

The new partnership will support the work of BASC’s gamekeeping and conservation programmes.

BASC will be hosting a series of taster days and Honda safety training days for members. Honda vehicles will be on display at BASC’s stand at the major game fairs and there will be an opportunity for people to try them out at BASC’s Gamekeepers’ Fair at Catton Park in Derbyshire on the 9th and 10th April. A dedicated ATV section will be created on BASC’s website.

Tom Blades, BASC’s head of game and gamekeeping, said: “We are delighted to have formed this partnership with Honda. Many of BASC’s 130,000 members use all terrain vehicles and we are proud to have teamed up with the world’s leading manufacturer. We have an established and growing interest in these popular and useful vehicles and we are proud to be working together with Honda to promote their safe use.”

Phil Webb, head of power equipment for Honda UK, said: “The partnership will see a variety of joined up activities including events, advertising and PR and we’re very enthusiastic about the benefits that the alliance will undoubtedly bring to our future customers, BASC’s members and the rural community at large.”
