Role information:

BASC is seeking a dynamic and strategic communications professional to lead the media content team of the UK’s largest shooting and conservation organisation.
With your exceptional news-sense and keen understanding of the ever-changing media landscape, you will lead as we craft compelling narratives that resonate with our target audiences.

You will lead our Content Team, ensuring the sourcing and creation of engaging media and managing the seamless integration of that content across all our channels. You will liaise with other managers for maximum collaboration across the communications department.

Critically, you will also be at the forefront of cultivating positive relationships with media outlets and developing a strong network of external media contacts.
Collaboration will be key as you work closely with internal teams to identify content, develop media strategies, and secure high-profile media coverage.

To thrive in this role, you must possess outstanding communication skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for staying ahead of media trends. A proven track record in public relations and experience managing press campaigns are essential. A commitment to BASC’s values and sustainable shooting is essential.

Role information:

BASC is seeking a dynamic and strategic communications professional to lead the publications team of the UK’s largest shooting and conservation organisation.

Our publications team designs and writes content that influences opinion at the highest level, manages our brand image and supports the largest membership in the sector. Our Shooting & Conservation magazine is widely regarded as ‘the voice of shooting’ and is helping to shape shooting’s narrative at a critical period.

We are seeking applicants with proven experience in magazine editing, exceptional writing and editing skills, strong leadership and a passion for shooting and the conservation. Collaboration will be key as you work closely with teams to identify and develop content, ensuring production of quality publications.

To thrive in this role, you must possess outstanding communication skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for producing quality materials with compelling narratives that resonate with our target audiences. A proven track record in managing and producing publications is essential. A commitment to BASC’s values and sustainable shooting is essential.
