Agricultural students are celebrating after completing their safe shot assessment with the help of the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC). Staff from BASC?s Northern Ireland office have been working closely with the students from the College of Agriculture, Food & Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) in Antrim.

The British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) has taken a range of firearms licensing issues in Northern Ireland to the top, by holding talks with two of the province’s police chiefs.
The British Association for Shooting & Conservation (BASC) will run a deer carcass handling day, at Grizedale, Cumbria on Sunday 25th April 2010. The day will be spent exploring the necessary skills for the post-mortem handling and inspection of shot deer in line with current Deer Stalking Certificate level 2 requirements. A certificate of attendance will be given to all delegates.
Gundog owners in the South East are being offered a chance to improve their gundog training skills at specialist classes.
