BASC expands firearms team

Paul Dale, a former firearms licensing manager for Staffordshire and West Midlands Police, has joined the UK’s largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC), to strengthen the firearms team and provide expert advice to members.

A new website has been launched to allow everyone who shoots to show their commitment to uphold the laws on lead shot.

Two ?introduction to woodpigeon shooting? courses were held back to back on 18th & 19th May. The first day was held in Kent, with the second taking place at BASC?s South East regional office at Newdigate, Surrey.

A statement of intent from Scotland?s Minister for Environment and Climate Change to improve the investigation and enforcement of crimes against birds of prey has been welcomed by the country?s largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation, Scotland (BASC Scotland).
