A new shooting lease for coastal wildfowling in North West Wales has been secured for three years with help from the UK?s largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC).

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) is currently seeking dead foxes in order to test them for Trichinella, a disease found in pigs and Echinococcus, a tapeworm which can affect dogs, cats and people. The Department is hoping to collect 24 foxes during the remaining days of March, from across the province.
