Visitors to the BASC stand will be treated to a new historic firearms display at this year’s CLA Game Fair which is being held at Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire on 24-26 July.

BASC’s firearms team will be entertaining the crowds with a demonstration of how firearms developed rapidly during the American Civil War as well as their usual display of firearms throughout the ages.

Other highlights include the BASC gundog arena with competitions to test both dog and handler, experts on hand for help and advice on all aspects of shooting, demonstrations and displays at BASC’s mini arena including ferreting and falconry with James McKay and woodpigeon shooting and wildfowling with Chris Green.

BASC will also be providing shotgun lessons with accredited coaches at £15 for adults and £8 for under 18s. Lessons take around half an hour, cover safety, gun fit and shooting techniques and are tailored to the ability of the individual.

The BASC stand, F690, can be found on Gunmakers’ Row which is near the main arena.
