BASC’s director of firearms Bill Harriman has penned a new book: ‘Cleaning and Maintaining Modern and Antique Firearms – A concise guide’.
The book is now available to buy and covers all aspects of the cleaning and maintenance of the most commonly-encountered types of sporting firearms.
It gives practical advice distilled from Mr Harriman’s 50 years experience in shooting sports.
Bill Harriman said: “This book is not just about preserving wood and metal, it is about preserving heritage too.”

Day two of The Game Fair saw the presentation of The Stanley Duncan Conservation trophy, alongside Special Presentation Awards and Honorary Life Memberships to those who have made an outstanding contribution to their sector of shooting and conservation.
