youngshots_badgeBASC are hosting a Young Shots introductory day at Commonwood Fishery, near Wrexham, next month.

The programme includes introductions to shotgun shooting, airgun shooting, coarse fishing and a gundog demonstration. The activities will be led by qualified coaches who are experts in their field.

Gary Ashton, BASC Wales director, said: “We recently introduced 150 pupils to shooting from a nearby school. It is a really safe and fun way for young people to experience something they may not usually try.”

The event, on June 2, is open to all eight to 18-year-olds and costs £20 per person, which includes equipment and coaching. Lunch is not included.
