BASC’s dedicated ladies’ shooting team is on the lookout for nominations for its first Ladies Star of Shooting award.

The award will be given in recognition of an outstanding contribution to ladies’ shooting.

Kathleen O’Connor, from BASC Ladies Shooting, said: “We love to hear stories of how you got into shooting – who, or what, inspired you or gave you the confidence to give our sport a go.

“If you know anyone who deserves a mention please tell us about them and help give the recognition they deserve.”

The winner will be decided annually by BASC’s Ladies Shooting team in recognition of an individual who has contributed markedly to the promotion of ladies shooting in the preceding 12 months and who is not a member of BASC council or any advisory committee.

The winner will receive a trophy and a prize from award-winning British country brand Sporting Hares.

Nominations can be made by using the contact form on the BASC Ladies website.
