BASC has today launched its Scottish Manifesto for Sustainable Shooting, prior to the elections on 6 May.
The country-specific manifesto will play a key part in BASC’s representation to the political parties and prospective candidates in the run up to the elections.
The Scottish manifesto seeks to ensure all parliamentarians from all parties recognise the value of shooting. It also stresses the importance of shooting to rural economies and livelihoods in Scotland.
The manifesto set out BASC’s position on key issues and explains our workload in parliament following next month’s elections.
Over the coming month BASC will be holding rural hustings and individual meetings with prospective candidates to ensure our members’ voices are heard.
