A Young Shots’ day will be held at the Holme Lacy campus of the Herefordshire College of Technology, near Hereford, on Saturday 13th July.
The event organised, by the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) will offer a chance to learn about the safe handling of shotguns and air-rifles with BASC-accredited coaches and to try different activities including gundog training and clay pigeon shooting. Participants will also learn about conservation and countryside awareness.
The day will cost £20 and all levels of experience will be provided for. It is open to both BASC members and non-members aged between eight and seventeen. Places are limited so advanced booking is essential.
