BASC is disappointed by the decision by Marks & Spencer to suspend its plans to procure red grouse and has raised its concerns with the retailer.
BASC supports the efforts of all those who are working to resolve these temporary supply chain issues and is working with sister organisations to ensure the retailer has access to evidenced, factual and current information relating to moorland and grouse management.
We recognise the level of concern this announcement has generated among our members who are making their views known to the retailer in significant numbers.
