twitter logoALL at BASC are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Gerald Grosvenor, the late Duke of Westminster. He was a keen shot, a conservationist and a great countryman. He served as President of BASC and was a benefactor of the Association.

The Duke of Westminster Hall at BASC’s Marford Mill headquarters is named after him and was opened by him. The Duke generously allowed the Association the use of his estates for Young Shots days and to explain shooting to politicians.

We extend our sincere condolences to his family.
