lettericonBASC has written to the chief executive of Marks And Spencer, Steve Rowe, to highlight the benefits of grouse shooting and to urge the retailer to continue selling grouse to the general public.

In the letter, BASC’s Christopher Graffius says: “We urge you to continue resisting pressure from online trolls and celebrity bullies. Despite propaganda, the truth is that good grouse moor management and grouse shooting benefits conservation, preserves marginal upland communities and puts good food into the market.”
