A statement of intent from Scotland?s Minister for Environment and Climate Change to improve the investigation and enforcement of crimes against birds of prey has been welcomed by the country?s largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation, Scotland (BASC Scotland).
Two ?introduction to woodpigeon shooting? courses were held back to back on 18th & 19th May. The first day was held in Kent, with the second taking place at BASC?s South East regional office at Newdigate, Surrey.

Our New-Style Roadshow is now an all-day event instead of just evening. Doors open at 10:00 and close at 17:00. There are two main halls, one will house all the trade stands and other new craft centre.

Farmers in Northern Ireland are being urged to take advantage of a pest control scheme run by the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) and the Ulster Farmers’ Union (UFU). The scheme will put farmers in touch with people who shoot so they can help reduce damage caused by pests.
