An influential committee of Northern Ireland politicians tried a Taste of Game thanks to the UK’s largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC).

The UK’s largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC), will join forces with countryside retailer Cornwall Farmers at Wadebridge to host an open evening in the New Year.

The British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) has welcomed new measures which cut bureaucracy for shooters visiting Northern Ireland.

Ladies Activity Day that took place at Lisnalea Rod & Gun Club on Saturday the 15th September. This has helped to promote country sports and raise money for action cancers, breast cancer awareness in northern Ireland.

On 19 November, BASC south east welcomed chief executive John Swift and recently appointed council chairman Martyn Howat to the region.

In recent months regional director Dan Reynolds has worked with the British Pest Control Association (BCPA) as part of their continuing professional development (CPD) programme to keep practicing pest control professionals up to date with the legal requirements of firearms security.

The one day course is aimed at increasing participants? skills and enjoyment and helping people to stay safe and within the law.

? Woodpigeon shooting (decoying, flighting and roost shooting)
? Dangers in the field
? Guns and cartridges
? Pattern testing and range judging
? Decoying patterns
? Carcass preparation

Country Sports South West (CSSW) and the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) have published an online marketing guide for shoots.

BASC Midlands will host a Christmas roadshow at the Springfield Events Centre, Camelgate, Spalding, Lincolnshire, on Sunday 16th December.
