This year our stand at the Midland Game Fair attracted the usual constant flow
of visitors. BASC regular Chris Green, the Cornish Countryman, built a superb
wildfowling display that included cartridge re-loading by Nick Powell of the
Dyfi, Mawddach and District Wildfowling Association. Chris and James Green
were also on hand to talk to visitors. Gun makers G. Perry had a wonderful
display of vintage and modern shotguns and Willo Game supported the
gamekeeping area.
16 individuals took the opportunity of our day of private tuition in clay shooting and fly fishing on 1st October at the beautiful grounds of Lakeside Sporting Fisheries, near Loughborough, Leicestershire.
