On the evening of Wed 21 September, BASC NI?s Laura Morrison attended a meeting of the Joint Council for Wildfowling Associations for Strangford Lough, at which a cheque for

Ian Brothers from Wiltshire and his golden retriever Ollie accumulated a total of 700 points to win the first BASC Chudleys scurry league.

The BASC East England Region Team Clay Shoot took place on Sunday, 2 October 2011 at the Lakenheath Clay Target Centre in Suffolk.

The BASC Wales .410 clay shooting competition was decided by a three-way shoot-off between a former winner and two new faces.

This year our stand at the Midland Game Fair attracted the usual constant flow
of visitors. BASC regular Chris Green, the Cornish Countryman, built a superb
wildfowling display that included cartridge re-loading by Nick Powell of the
Dyfi, Mawddach and District Wildfowling Association. Chris and James Green
were also on hand to talk to visitors. Gun makers G. Perry had a wonderful
display of vintage and modern shotguns and Willo Game supported the
gamekeeping area.

16 individuals took the opportunity of our day of private tuition in clay shooting and fly fishing on 1st October at the beautiful grounds of Lakeside Sporting Fisheries, near Loughborough, Leicestershire.
