Layout 1Ladies in North Wales have a chance to try their hand at clay pigeon shooting at a special event at Llandegla organised by the British Association for Shooting and Conservation.

After tea and coffee at the Fauxdegla shooting ground there will be a safety briefing and issue of protective equipment. Then each lady will have a BASC qualified coach to guide her through practice shooting to smashing her first clay. They will have the opportunity to shoot a variety of targets from different positions around the ground.

Lunch will be venison burgers and wild boar sausages in the ground’s log cabin followed by an informal competition with individual and team prizes.

The event takes place on Monday 30 November and the cost, including lunch and provision of all equipment, is £40. Ladies who are interested can get more details from Kathy O’Connor at BASC on 01244 573017 or email marketing@basc.org.uk
