The Paul Humberstone Memorial Fly-Fishing Competition was held on 2 May. The match was a friendly competition arranged by the Clevedon Wildfowlers to remember their chairman Paul Humberstone who sadly died of cancer last year.

Paul was a great field-sportsman whose main interest was shooting, but who later came to enjoy his fly-fishing. He had the distinction of being one of a select few anglers in the country to have taken Bass on the fly rod.
