A guidance document has been produced by BASC to help those who run game shoots to identify and manage risks posed by Covid-19 on shoot days.
The document is currently England specific, but guidance for Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales will be available in due course.
Dan Reynolds, BASC director of England, said: “BASC has been working intensively on creating guidance for shoots to help them address the risk of COVID-19 this coming season.”
“With guidance across the UK continually being updated this document is not exhaustive, but focuses on the areas that could present a risk. It is our aim to see all forms of shooting undertaken and the wider benefits of our actions achieved, whist remaining in the parameters of government guidance.”
