THE ANNUAL FORDE ABBEY GUN-DOG TRIALS

On a very warm Thursday 77 Retrievers and Spaniels were entered for a variety of tests in Open, Novice and Puppy classes.
Starting at 11am and finishing at 5.30pm the hard-working Judges – Judith Evans, Martin Harris, Nick Jordan and Martin Love – awarded some high scores.
The winners were as follows:
Retriever
Puppy – June Spencer with Ellie
Novice – Susan Ward and Ebony
Open – Jill Yates and Jewel
Spaniels
Puppy – Christine Walton and Max
Novice – Miss M Rundele and Musket
Open – Mr Lyford and Sooty
The event was run in conjunction with the Fore Abbey Summer Fair held in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care and the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution.
