Deer Tracking 300pxTo meet the increasing demand by deer stalkers for dog training courses, BASC Northern Ireland is holding a one-day course at Baronscourt Estate, County Tyrone on 28 November.

The one-day Dogs for Deer course is aimed at those with little previous experience of using their dog for stalking or those who are thinking of training their first deer dog.

Those attending will enjoy both theory and practical sessions, which include health and safety, deer law, different breeds of dog, tracking equipment, dog training and tracking techniques. Attendees are welcome to take their own dogs.

The course costs £90 for BASC members and £125 for non-members. Places must be paid for in advance. For further information or to book a place, please contact Laura at the BASC NI Office on 028 92 605050 or email.
