One of Britain’s most exclusive malt whisky brands has agreed to sponsor the Game’s On campaign for another year.

Glenfarclas single highland malt scotch whisky will sponsor the Game’s On website and game recipe leaflets. Glenfarclas, which has been established for over 167 years, is still distilled and matured at the family home in Ballindalloch, Banffshire, Scotland.

Simon Hamlyn, project manager for Game’s On, said: “Game’s On has already been hugely successful in ensuring that the widest possible audience can enjoy the benefits of eating game meat. This sponsorship deal will continue to help us promote game to an even greater number of people”.

John Grant, chairman of Glenfarclas Distillery, said: “Once again, we at Glenfarclas are delighted to support the Game’s On initiative. It is vital that game, as a valuable food source, is appreciated by a wider sector of the public. This in turn supports the rural economy as well as increasing awareness of the biodiversity associated with well run and managed shoots."
