A great example of a Lady Star of Shooting, Melissa has gone from strength to strength in the shooting community. As well as being hands-on at home helping her Gamekeeper father, Mel was a dedicated Captain of Aberystwyth University Clay Pigeon Shooting Club whilst studying for her masters in Countryside Management. During her time on the committee, she assembled Aberystwyth’s most successful Ladies Team to date, this was due to her continued support, encouragement and practice for Lady shots, both new and experienced.
Since her graduation, Melissa has become an accomplished shooter. During the game season she travels all over the UK for driven shooting as well as having attended the 2017 World English Championship. She has also recently clinched Suffolk Ladies English Skeet 1st place.
Melissa has proved herself to be an equal as she is helping to run Eriswell Lodge Shooting Ground in Suffolk alongside men.
