An election for vacancies on BASC Council will be held at the AGM on the 18th of June 2016.

Nominations for election and motions for debate at the AGM must be made formally in writing and submitted to the chief executive before close of business on Friday 29th January 2016. Motions for debate must be signed by a proposer and a seconder. Nominations for election must be signed by a proposer and seconder and the candidate. In the case of both motions and nominations for election all signatories must be members of BASC.

For 2016 there are two vacancies on Council to be filled by election. The first is the national seat for England. To satisfy the rules candidates and their proposers and seconders must be resident in England. The other vacancy is a UK seat for which no residential qualifications apply.
