As part of its promotion of wild game, Taste of Game distributes around 70,000 recipe leaflets to game dealers, farm shops, butchers and the public every year.
Developed and cooked by celebrity chef Tony Singh, the eight original recipes are designed with a street food flavour in mind. The leaflet mixes the health benefits and versatility of wild game with recognisable feasts that street food provides. The leaflet contains simple-to-follow and easy recipes such as partridge quesadilla and venison hotdogs.
On unveiling the new and exciting recipes, Taste of Game coordinator Annette Woolcock said: “This year’s recipe leaflet is focused at enticing the younger generations to the benefits of a variety of wild game through recognisable and enjoyable feasts.
“Tony was the obvious choice to help us develop these recipes, he is renowned for his street food dishes and loves working with game.”
Tony Singh said: “I have been working closely with Taste of Game for several years, I was delighted to be asked to come on board with this exciting project. There is so much space in our diet for wild game, it is a privilege to be involved with the promotion of such a fantastic product.”
