BASC is advising members that this year’s The Game Fair has been postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The event’ organisers have this evening released an email which says: “We have received a notice from the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport who sadly, due to the coronavirus pandemic, cannot give us any assurances that The Game Fair can proceed in September.
“It will, therefore, be postponed until July 2021. We will be making a formal announcement shortly which will include options and next steps for exhibitors, sponsors and ticket holders. Thank you for your support and understanding during this challenging time.”
BASC can confirm that all member privileges – including complimentary admission – will roll over to next year’s event (July 23, 24, 25).
A formal announcement from The Game Fair is expected shortly with further details.
