A host of prizes are up for grabs at this year’s Countryside Clay Shoot.

The event will be held at the West Wycombe estate in Buckinghamshire on Saturday 25th May 2019 to raise funds for the Gamekeepers’ Welfare Trust.

Teams of four will compete for the Hugh van Cutsem Challenge Cup, dedicated to the memory of the keen shot and countryman.

Steve Bloomfield, BASC’s executive director of shooting and operations, said: “This is a major event in the calendar to raise awareness and funds for the Gamekeepers’ Welfare Trust which is increasingly in need of our support.”

The event, sponsored by BASC, Brabners, HR Owen Maserati and the Epicurean Club, will feature six simulated game drives including grouse.

The first placed team with the highest overall score will receive the cup and a total of £800 in cash.

The runners-up will receive a cash prize of a total of £400 and a celebratory dinner for four at any one of the Epicurean Collection Inns along with club membership https://www.epicurean.club/

The team finishing in 12th place will win the ‘Glorious 12th’ prize of a bottle of champagne each.

There will also be four clay shooting lessons on offer to the most deserving team.

All teams will receive an EJ Churchill cap and a goody bag.

Maserati will offer each of the winners a Maserati designer pen and a case of six bottles of Gold Bottega Prosecco.
