Mark was only 8 when he was handed his first air rifle and swiftly moved onto his first shotgun at 12. He has a passion for shooting which has not diminished over 40 years.

Mark has shot clays, game and wildfowl, he stalks and has been Head Keeper on a large Somerset shoot as well as loading on Exmoor. He also enjoys training and working gun dogs.

Now, as a BASC Accredited Shotgun Coach Mark is able to share his enthusiasm for the sport by providing his experience and knowledge to others.

But what makes him happiest is helping someone to achieve their goal of proficiency with a shotgun as it provides not only ability in this area but a confidence which can be far reaching.

Confidence from shooting finds its way into other areas of life as Mark has seen this with novice guns old and young alike.

He works in all areas of the UK and is available for clay ground tuition.

In Somerset he has access to three coaching grounds to suit the individual needs.

Mark especially enjoys coaching guns on a day’s driven game shoot. Here he can offer a full service including loading, coaching as well as advice on etiquette.
