Emergency First Aid at Work – EFAW

Aim

This 1½ day course will be theory and practical based ensuring that the practical element is realistic and relevant, aimed at the shooting community. The training is provided by an ex-front line Army medic expert with 12 years real life experience. Being trained by the best will instil you with confidence and provide all the knowledge and skills required to be a successful first aider.

How the course is delivered

This course is theory and practical based over 1½ days and involves teaching the topics and then confirming learning through practical exercise. The total Guided Learning Hours for this course is 6 hours for the Ofqual regulated qualification.  In conjunction with this, we have included additional topics which are bespoke to BASC Members and therefore make this course 1½ days.

Certification

This course is an Ofqual regulated certificated course. Once completed you will be an in date trained first aider for a 3 year period.

  • £240 for non-members

Should there be insufficient bookings, BASC reserve the right to cancel the course. In the interests of fairness BASC will aim to provide candidates notification of cancellation as soon as possible prior to the advertised start date. We strongly recommend that fees for any accommodation you book are refundable as BASC will not be responsible for any losses incurred by candidates.
