Thirty-two children from a top primary school in Eastbourne have enjoyed a Young Shots day put on for them by the South East region of the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC).
The school, West Rise Junior was recently voted the top primary school in the UK at the prestigious TES 2015 schools awards ceremony in London.
The UK’s largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC), will be offering high quality, expert shotgun coaching for new and experienced shooters at this year’s CLA Game Fair.
Tom Boardman, 14, from Lancashire, shows off his first pigeon, shot without the aid of decoys or pigeon magnets. Just him, his dog, a new 12 bore and a hide. The first of many to come, no doubt.
Here is young Ollie Vosper, with his first pheasant, shot on the beaters day. He managed his 20 bore superbly. Well done!
Seven year-old James Bateman is pictured on a recent grey squirrel purge in woodland in Berkshire last February. We’re delighted that James is already learning about wildlife conservation and pest control. Keep up the good work!
